Local and international
Our story began in 2019, when South Tyrolean entrepreneur Josef Gostner took over Bolzano Airport and set in motion the dream of a home-grown airline – deeply rooted in the region yet open to Europe. In 2023, we received our Air Operator Certificate (AOC), officially becoming an independent Italian airline. Today, we connect South Tyrol with more than 20 of Europe’s most stunning destinations.
Efficiency and sustainability
As part of the FRI-EL Green Power Group, one of Italy’s leading renewable energy producers, we have focused from the outset on a modern and efficient fleet. Our DASH-8 Q400 aircraft is the ideal choice for flying across the Alps: up to 50% lower emissions compared to regional jets, and significantly quieter during take-off and landing. A study by the French start-up Estuaire has also shown that our aircraft do not produce contrails – one of the main contributors to atmospheric warming.
