Up to 24 hours before departure
You can rebook your flight up to 24 hours before departure. Once any applicable payment—credit card only—has been received, the rebooking is confirmed.
Changes Allowed
- One-way flight: You can change the date, time, and destination up to 24 hours before departure.
- Round-trip flight: You can change the date, time, and destination up to 24 hours before departure. However, the departure airport of the outbound flight must match the arrival airport of the return flight, and vice versa.
- If the outbound flight has already departed, only the date and time of the return flight can be changed.
You can make changes for all or specific passengers in your booking via your SkyAlps account.
Fare Differences
- If the new ticket is more expensive, the price difference must be paid.
- If the new ticket is cheaper, no refund is issued.
- If the price remains the same, no additional payment is required.
Rebooking Fees
In addition to fare differences, the following rebooking fees apply:
- SKY FLEX: Free of charge
- SKY CLASSIC: €80.00 per passenger and flight
- SKY LIGHT: Rebooking not allowed
Name changes are not permitted.
However, corrections due to typing errors or formatting mistakes can be made free of charge.
Additional services can still be booked after online check-in. It is your responsibility to complete check-in for the new flight and ensure you have an updated boarding pass.
Cancellations are possible up to 24 hours before departure.
Refund Policy
- SKY FLEX: 100% refund, minus €70 per passenger and flight
- SKY CLASSIC: No refund
- SKY LIGHT: No refund
If a passenger fails to show up for the outbound flight, all remaining flights on the ticket will be automatically cancelled.
Death of an Immediate Family Member (Not Traveling)
If a close family member (spouse, children, adopted children, parents, siblings, grandparents, or grandchildren) passes away while you are traveling, please contact our Customer Service (
If a close family member passes away up to 28 days before your scheduled flight, and you choose not to travel, SkyAlps may, at its discretion, grant a refund. If the request is not deemed eligible for a refund, the fare conditions of the ticket purchased by the customer will apply.
To request a refund, please provide:
- Booking number
- Proof of relationship to the deceased, documented via family status certificate
- Death certificate or medical certificate confirming the death of the relative
Severe Illness or Death of a Passenger
If a passenger experiences a severe illness, diagnosed no later than 6 weeks after booking the flight, SkyAlps may issue a refund in the form of a travel credit. Requests must be submitted via email to
To request the refund, please provide:
- Booking number
- Medical certificate confirming the severity of the illness
Refunds will not be granted for common illnesses (e.g., flu, gastroenteritis, chickenpox, conjunctivitis), for routine medical treatments (e.g., scheduled check-ups or planned procedures), or bone fractures.
In the event of a passenger's death, please contact our Customer Service.
Note: Traveling companions of the affected passenger will be granted the same conditions.
