Monthly changing wine list

Wines of Alto Adige/Südtirol have a good reputation throughout the world and have garnered numerous awards. The climate is especially mild in South Tyrol and the region’s geography is influenced by 300 days of sun per year as well as Mediterranean air currents. South Tyrol is amongst the oldest wine growing regions in the German-speaking countries. High quality white and red wines are produced from about 20 grape varieties. The two most important varieties are Schiava and Lagrein.

 

SkyAlps, together with the Consortium Vini Alto Adige, has selected 48 special producers for you, who will present special labels on board our machines throughout the year. The wine list offers four awarded quality wines every month – included in the ticket price!

Alto Adige Wines travel free of charge

  • Passengers may each carry one carton of wine (max. 6 bottles of 0.75 litres each) free of charge on SkyAlps flights from Bolzano.
  • The wines must be purchased from one of the producers participating in the promotion.
  • Ask the producer to pack the bottles carefully in a shipping carton and label them with a SkyAlps promotional sticker.
